KYON: 神の恵み · Kaminomegumi (God's Grace)

"Born of Heaven's fall and Hell's hunger — he was never meant to exist."

Kyon: Kaminomegumi (God's Grace) is a dark fantasy action manga that reimagines biblical mythology through the story of a forbidden hybrid born between Heaven and Hell.

Kyon, the son of a fallen archangel and a demon, awakens the legendary "Eye of God," a holy power meant only for angels chosen by God Himself. Declared an abomination by Heaven and claimed as a weapon by Hell, Kyon becomes the center of a divine war that spans Earth, Purgatory, Hell, and Heaven.

Kyon animation process — rough lineart with 3D perspective guides framing the protagonist mid-scene

Rough Lineart · Layout Pass

An early frame from the animation pipeline — hand-drawn lineart composited over 3D perspective guides. Before the ink, before the color, before the motion: the architecture of a single moment.

Rough Animatic · Motion Test

The first breath of movement. Rough keyframes timed against the scene's beat — line, weight, and pacing tested long before the clean pass begins.

Kyon color pass — the Eye of God awakens behind a torn veil of light

Color Pass · The Eye Awakens

Flat color over clean lineart — the Eye of God flares to life behind a torn veil of light. Perspective grids still visible beneath the paint.

Kyon key pose — foreshortened fist strike with the Eye locked on target

Key Pose · Fist Strike

Foreshortened key pose mapped against 3D guides. The fist drives toward camera as the Eye locks on its target — anatomy and impact tested before clean-up.

Kyon expression sheet — green-toned grimace study

Expression Sheet · Grimace

An expression study in cool green — pain, defiance, exhaustion. Rough lines preserved to keep the raw emotion before the final ink pass.

More process work to be unveiled as production continues.
